Not a Government Agency
This site is not affiliated with Washoe County, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, the Second Judicial District Court, Reno or Sparks Justice Courts, Reno or Sparks Municipal Courts, Nevada courts, Nevada DMV, or any police or marshal office. Names, logos, links, and descriptions are used to identify official public resources and do not create an agency relationship.
Information Can Change
Phone numbers, addresses, hours, fees, portals, forms, court rules, status labels, and public-record availability can change. Online systems may be incomplete, delayed, login-protected, date-limited, or restricted by sealing and juvenile rules. A public result is not a guarantee that a warrant is active, recalled, or cleared.
Verify With the Official Office
Use the court printed on the citation or case. For sheriff-held or sheriff-served questions, WCSO lists Warrants at (775) 328-3398. The court that issued a warrant controls recall, quash, bail, a new date, payment, or a motion. A records request can provide a copy or access decision, but it cannot change the court's order.
No Legal Advice
General explanations on this site are not legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship. A specific warrant may require a Nevada lawyer, a court appearance, jail surrender, bail, a motion, or another remedy. Ask the issuing court or a licensed attorney before acting.
FCRA and Personal Use
Washoe County Warrant Records is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The information may not be used for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose. Do not use the site to screen, locate, monitor, harass, or make decisions about another person.
The civic purpose is to help a visitor check their own status, assist a family member who asked, understand a court process, and find the correct official office.
Most Wanted and Public Lists
The WCSO Most Wanted Criminals page is a curated public-safety program. This site does not republish names, photographs, mugshots, addresses, or a roster. WCSO says the page may not be current, warrants must be verified, and private citizens should not attempt an arrest. Use the official page and Detectives contact for a tip, not for personal clearance.
Third-Party Links and Tools
Sponsored widgets, payment vendors, and linked websites operate under their own terms, prices, privacy policies, and data practices. A link is not an endorsement or guarantee. Open official court and sheriff websites directly when entering case, identity, or payment information.
